Telenor SIM owner details checks combine PTA's shared short codes (667, 668) with Telenor's own channels (*8888#, 7751, 345). Every official route answers a question about your own registrations. None shows another person's name, address or number.

Step by Step: the 668 Check on Telenor
- Open Messages, not the dialler 668 is an SMS short code, and sends may be charged. Never resend in a loop.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC without dashes PTA's FAQ and its releases of 10 November 2023 and 31 December 2025 all say: digits alone.
- Read the count, company by company The reply gives your Telenor total among the counts, never phone numbers or names.
- Or use the free website Enter the same CNIC with the reCAPTCHA on cnic.sims.pk. PTA runs this portal and it lists no fee.
What the Telenor SMS Reply Actually Shows
Three checks, three replies:
- 667 (send "MNP" from your Telenor SIM): the mobile number, registered name, CNIC and SIM number this SIM is held against. Your SIM's own record only.
- 668 (send your CNIC): a count per company. Telenor's line is a number of SIMs, not a list of them.
- 7751 (send your CNIC): whether the SIM completed biometric verification.
If a 667 reply names someone other than you, the Telenor SIM in your hand is registered to a different CNIC. Contact the operator to correct the record.
Telenor Porting and Prefixes
Our reference tables do not list Telenor's port-in fee, so confirm it on the helpline (345) before requesting a move. What is fixed: prefixes 0340 to 0349 were originally allocated to Telenor, but portability means a 034x number may now run on another network, and any other prefix may have ported in. Text N and the number to 76367 (Rs 2 plus tax) for the live network; the reply names the network only, never the subscriber.
Lost or Stolen Telenor SIM
Call 345 to block a lost Telenor SIM, then visit a franchise with your original CNIC for a replacement after fingerprint verification. Our tables list Telenor's replacement price as "contact helpline", so confirm the current fee on 345 before you travel; the fingerprint visit must be yours.
Sudden loss of signal, unexpected OTP messages or bank alerts point to SIM swap fraud. Call 345 from another phone, keep the complaint number, freeze card transactions with your bank, and escalate to PTA (0800-55055) or the NCCIA (1799). Full route: lost SIM and SIM swap guide.
Telenor-Ufone Merger (July 2026)
Telenor and Ufone (PTML) merged on 1 July 2026. They are now a single entity. Services and helplines may have changed. Confirm current details with the merged company.
Two things the merger did not change: SIMs stay registered against your CNIC under PTA's biometric rules, and the checks above still answer about the account, not the brand. Send MNP to 667 and your CNIC to 668 whichever logo is on the card. The Ufone guide covers the other side of the merger.
Telenor SIM Checks: Which Code to Use
| You want to know | Code or channel | Reply you get |
|---|---|---|
| SIMs registered on my CNIC (all networks) | CNIC to 668, or cnic.sims.pk | Count per company |
| Who this Telenor SIM is registered to | MNP to 667 from the SIM | Number, name, CNIC, SIM number |
| Is this SIM biometrically verified | CNIC to 7751 | Biometric status |
| My own Telenor number | *8888# | Your number |
| Offers and services on my line | *345# | Service menu |
| Which network someone's number is on now | N 03XXXXXXXXX to 76367 | Network name only |
| Block a lost SIM or replace it | 345, then a franchise visit | Blocked SIM; new SIM after fingerprints |
When the Telenor Count Looks Wrong
Write down every SIM registered to your CNIC first: phones, second slots, router and MiFi SIMs, old cards in a drawer and SIMs relatives use on your CNIC. Then match that list against the Telenor line in your 668 or cnic.sims.pk result.
Count higher than your list
A Telenor SIM you never agreed to may sit on your CNIC. Take your original CNIC and fingerprints to a franchise and ask to disown it. Voluntary disowning costs up to Rs 200; fraud cases are free, and a newly purchased SIM cannot be disowned or transferred within 365 days of activation. Escalate to PTA (0800-55055) or the NCCIA (1799) if the franchise cannot fix it. Blocking unauthorised SIMs covers the complaint path.
Count lower than your list
A SIM may never have finished registration, or a recent one may not show yet. Re-check in a few days; anything still missing goes to the operator, because only the company can correct its own register.
Who Can Legally See Someone Else's Telenor SIM Details?
Nobody, without authority. There is no public route to a stranger's name, CNIC or address from a Telenor number. Reading another person's SIM registration records without authorisation falls under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016; Section 16, unauthorised use of identity information, carries up to 3 years in prison, a fine of up to Rs 5 million, or both. Lawful access runs through the operator, PTA and investigating bodies such as the NCCIA. The PECA 2016 guide explains the boundaries, and your own records are free to inspect at PTA's SIM Information System.
FAQ
How can I check Telenor SIM owner details?
Two official routes cover your own records: send MNP to 667 from the SIM to see its registered number, name, CNIC and SIM number, or send your CNIC without dashes to 668 to count SIMs per company. No channel shows owner details for a Telenor number you do not hold.
How do I check if my Telenor SIM is biometrically verified?
SMS your 13-digit CNIC to 7751 from the SIM. The reply confirms biometric status. Biometric registration has been mandatory since 2015, and since December 2022 new SIMs use MBVS, which randomly checks two fingers against NADRA records.
Did the Telenor-Ufone merger change my SIM registration?
No. The merger on 1 July 2026 combined the companies; it did not move SIMs off your CNIC. Your count still shows company by company when you send your CNIC to 668. Helplines and tariffs may have shifted, so confirm those with the merged company.
Can someone move my Telenor number to another SIM?
That is SIM swap fraud, and it is why you should act the same day: sudden loss of signal plus unexpected OTPs is the classic pattern. Call 345 from another phone, restore the number to a SIM only you hold, warn your bank and report to the NCCIA (1799) if money moved.
Telenor SIM Owner Details: The Bottom Line
Telenor SIM owner details sit behind two self-checks: MNP to 667 for the SIM in your hand, and your CNIC to 668 (or free on cnic.sims.pk) for every SIM registered to you. Biometric status rides on 7751, your own number on *8888#, and the merger changes neither.
Do the count now: SMS your CNIC without dashes to 668 or open cnic.sims.pk. If the Telenor line is higher than the SIMs you hold, take your CNIC to a franchise this week and disown what is not yours.
