What This Website Is For

Chatcati explains official SIM checks in plain language. We show what a check can tell you, what it cannot tell you, and what to do if something looks wrong. We also explain related CNIC, lost-SIM and phone-registration questions.

The website publishes guidance on SIM registration, CNIC-linked counts and account protection. Mobile operators and the relevant authorities handle changes to official registration records and formal complaints. Use their authenticated channels for an account-specific decision.

Our Independence

We are not affiliated with PTA, NADRA, NCCIA or any mobile company. For the regulator's own information, visit the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. A link to an official service does not mean it endorses this website.

Our Editorial Standards

We verify information against official sources: PTA's published FAQ, PTA releases, operator websites, PECA 2016, and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes (Amendment) Act 2025. We date our sources and update content regularly. See our editorial standards page for details.

Privacy

This website does not collect, store or process personal data from visitors. We do not run SIM checks on your behalf. All checks are performed through official channels (668, cnic.sims.pk, 667, 76367) by you, the user. See our privacy policy.
