Jazz SIM owner details checks run through two kinds of service: PTA's network-wide short codes (667, 668) and Jazz's own channels (*99#, 6001, 111). Every official route answers a question about your own registrations. None of them lists another person's name, address or phone number.
How to Check Jazz SIM Owner Details
- Check registration: Send MNP to 667 from your Jazz SIM. The reply shows your name and CNIC.
- Check biometric status: SMS your CNIC to 6001.
- Check SIM count: Send your CNIC to 668 or use cnic.sims.pk.
- Find your number: Dial *99#.
Step by Step: the 668 Check on Jazz
- Open Messages, not the dialler 668 is an SMS short code, and sends may be charged. Never resend in a loop.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC without dashes PTA's FAQ and its releases of 10 November 2023 and 31 December 2025 all say: digits alone.
- Read the count, company by company The reply gives your Jazz total among the counts, never phone numbers or names.
- Or use the free website Enter the same CNIC with the reCAPTCHA on cnic.sims.pk. PTA runs this portal and it lists no fee.
What the Jazz SMS Reply Actually Shows
Three checks, three replies:
- 667 (send "MNP" from your Jazz SIM): the mobile number, registered name, CNIC and SIM number this SIM is held against. Your own SIM's record only.
- 668 (send your CNIC): a count per company. Jazz's side is a number, not a list of numbers.
- 6001 (send your CNIC): whether the SIM completed biometric verification.
If a 667 reply shows a name or CNIC that is not yours, the Jazz SIM in your hand is registered to somebody else. Contact the operator to correct the record.
Jazz Porting Rules
Jazz accepts a port-in only 60 days after a number's activation or its last ownership change. If you want to move your number to Jazz, you must wait 60 days after the last change. The port-in fee on Jazz's own price list is Rs 300 for prepaid; PostPay customers pay a deposit only. The clock protects you in reverse too: a Jazz number that changed hands recently cannot leave until the 60 days are up.
Prefixes cannot confirm a port. Numbers from 0300 to 0309 or 0320 to 0329 started on Jazz, but portability means one may sit on another network today. Text N and the 11-digit number to 76367 for the current network; the reply names the network only, never the owner (mobile number details covers prefixes in full).
Lost or Stolen Jazz SIM
Dial *8822# or call 111 to block a lost Jazz SIM. If the SIM turns up, the same route restores the number. A replacement costs Rs 550 and is issued at Jazz retailers, franchises and experience centres after fingerprint verification. Block the SIM the same day, keep the reference number, then visit a franchise yourself with your original CNIC: nobody can make that fingerprint visit for you.
Sudden loss of signal, unexpected OTP messages or bank alerts can mean SIM swap fraud. Call 111 from another phone, have the number restored to a SIM only you hold, warn your bank, and escalate to PTA (0800-55055) or the NCCIA (1799) if needed. Full steps: our lost SIM and SIM swap guide.

When the Jazz Count Looks Wrong
Compare the Jazz line in your 668 or cnic.sims.pk result against the SIMs you actually hold: phones, second slots, router and MiFi SIMs, old cards in a drawer and SIMs relatives use on your CNIC.
Count higher than your list
A Jazz SIM you never agreed to may sit on your CNIC. Visit a Jazz franchise with your original CNIC and fingerprints and ask to disown it. Voluntary disowning costs up to Rs 200; fraud cases are handled free. Note: a newly purchased SIM cannot be disowned or transferred within 365 days of activation. If the franchise will not resolve it, complain to PTA (0800-55055) or the NCCIA (1799). The full process: how to block unauthorised SIMs.
Count lower than your list
A Jazz SIM may not have completed registration, or a recent one may not show yet. Re-check after a few days; if it stays missing, take it up with Jazz.
Who Can Legally See Someone Else's Jazz SIM Details?
Nobody, without authority. No official service shows a stranger's name, CNIC or address from their Jazz number; sites claiming to are showing fabricated data or reselling old leaked records. Accessing another person's SIM registration records without authorisation falls under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016: Section 16 (unauthorised use of identity information) carries up to 3 years in prison, a fine of up to Rs 5 million, or both. That data sits lawfully only with the operator, PTA and investigating bodies such as the NCCIA. Read PECA 2016 and SIM ownership for the full picture.
What you can do freely: count SIMs on your own CNIC through PTA's SIM Information System, verify your own SIM with 667, and check a number's current network with 76367.
FAQ
How can I check Jazz SIM owner details by mobile number?
You cannot. No official channel shows the owner of a Jazz number you do not hold. From your own SIM, send MNP to 667 to see its registered name and CNIC. To audit your own registrations, send your CNIC to 668 or use cnic.sims.pk. Sites promising owner details by number sell leaked or fake data.
What does the 668 reply show for Jazz?
A count of SIMs registered against your CNIC on Jazz, along with counts for the other companies. PTA has published no sample reply, so treat any screenshot of a "668 reply" listing phone numbers or names with suspicion: 668 never returns numbers or names.
How do I check if my Jazz SIM is biometrically verified?
SMS your 13-digit CNIC without dashes to 6001 from the SIM. The reply confirms biometric status. Since December 2022, new SIMs are issued through MBVS, which randomly checks two fingers against NADRA's records instead of one repeated finger.
How much does a Jazz SIM replacement cost?
Rs 550 at Jazz retailers, franchises and experience centres. Bring your original CNIC and expect fingerprint verification; you must attend in person. Block a lost SIM first with *8822# or 111, and the same route restores it if the SIM turns up.
Jazz SIM Owner Details: The Bottom Line
Jazz SIM owner details are checkable in two safe directions: your own SIM's registration (MNP to 667) and your own CNIC's total (668 or cnic.sims.pk). Everything else, including biometric status on 6001 and your number on *99#, works the same way: official channels answer questions about your own records, never someone else's.
Your next step is the count. SMS your CNIC without dashes to 668, or open cnic.sims.pk, and compare the Jazz number against the SIMs you actually hold. If Jazz's count is higher than your list, take your CNIC to a Jazz franchise the same week and disown what is not yours.
