Check Which Network a Number Belongs To
SMS any 11-digit Pakistani mobile number to 76367. Rs 2 plus tax. Official PTA service.
Step by step: the 76367 network check
- Open your phone's Messages app (not the dialler).
- Start a new text message.
- Type the 11-digit mobile number (e.g.
03001234567). No dashes, no spaces. - Send the message to 76367.
- Within seconds, you receive a reply with the network name (Jazz, Zong, Ufone, Telenor or SCO).
What it costs
Rs 2 plus tax per query, charged to your mobile balance. The cost is set by PTA and may vary slightly by operator. No subscription or registration needed.
What it returns
Only the network company name. Nothing else — no owner name, no CNIC, no address, no call records. This is by design: PTA deliberately limits the reply to the network name to protect privacy.
Network prefixes (quick reference)
| Prefix (after 03) | Network |
|---|---|
| 00-09, 20-29 | Jazz (Mobilink) |
| 10-19 | Zong (CMPak) |
| 30-38 | Ufone (PTML) |
| 40-49 | Telenor Pakistan |
| 55-59 | SCO / Onic |
Prefixes are a quick guide, but portability (MNP) means a number can move between networks. The 76367 check is authoritative.
When to use 76367
- Unknown number calling or texting you — find out which network it's on.
- Verifying a number before sending money or sharing information.
- Checking if a number is still active on its original network.
What 76367 cannot do
76367 returns only the network name. It cannot tell you who owns the number, their CNIC, their address, or their call history. Anyone claiming to provide these via 76367 is lying.
